I’m a full-stack web developer with a client base which ranges from non-profits, to start-ups, to enterprise. Whether you need something completely new built from start to finish, or vital modifications to something you already have, I can help you. My extensive experience in frontend development lends itself to unique specialist work in web interfaces, which is informed by a user-centric approach.
Web Apps
If your product has a high level of interaction, it’s likely that a web app, built using something like ReactJS or VueJS, is the right approach. While these conceptually happen on all on one page, we can still follow best practices for discoverability, SEO and accessibility, as suits your requirements. Of course, if your users are logging in to something private, we stop worrying about SEO and worry about security instead.

CMS Websites
When websites are more informational, especially when they have a lot of content, you don’t need something highly bespoke. It’s very likely that an off-the-shelf content management system will do what you need and can be set up quickly and economically.
Initial content migration or population can be provided as part of the service.

Custom Additions
Very often, you’ll be 90% of the way to where you need to be, but need something unique added to your existing solution. Whether your project is built an open-source project like Wordpress, completely unique, or somewhere in between, I can build the fix. I can work solo or with your current experts.
Avoiding Building Websites
Too often people think that building a website means you must be paying someone to write software. A lot of the time you can get very far with a service you just log in to and pay for, and can spend your money better elsewhere. Book me for an hour and I can talk you through it in 20 minutes. We can spend the other 40 minutes talking about basic content design.
Sure, I could tell you that you need to pay me to build the all-singing, all-dancing, bespoke solution - entire companies are founded on this practice - but I don’t subscribe to this approach. I’d rather help you spend your money wisely, and when you really need something special, we can do something special together.
The question I always ask is: Is unique software going to deliver something that your customers notice and care about? Is the cost justified? Very often, taking a lego box approach with things that already exist is the best first step. When it’s time to really spend invest in software, you’ll know.
Something Else?
“Web development” includes a lot of things. Most of it I can help you with, and for the things I can’t, I’ll try to point you in the right direction.
